Hot Springs and Ryokan

Guess what, y'all. It's time for a field trip. We're heading to a Hot Springs and an Inn for the weekend, and everyone is invited. This place is huge, and has multiple springs both indoor and out. There's separate bathing, mixed, and even a spot for foreigners and prudes who like to keep their swimsuits on. Table tennis? Got it. Room service? You bet. Massages? Possibly. Ghosts? Maybe.

1. Hot springs: after you rinse off come take a relaxing bath. There are multiple options as to what kind of bathing environment you can have, so please choose wisely. Also, please read the signs. None of the springs will kill you, but if you choose the wrong one you might end up with some... adverse effects. Cursed springs might just be a Thing.

2. The Inn: you'll be here for a few nights so find your rooming buddy and get friendly. Whether bonding over food, games, or even just exploring the place there's certainly something you can find to occupy yourself. Just don't be too curious after curfew. The staff are pretty insistent, but they aren't cops so responsibility for your actions are your own.

[ Listen. Even before Everything Else In Her Life, Ritsuka has always been opportunistic interested in taking up freebie offers, and a free weekend at an inn with attached hot springs is too good of an offer to pass up. And it's been a very long couple of weeks thanks, BB; thanks, CCC event, so of course the first thing she does after dumping her stuff is make a beeline for the springs themselves. Thanks for the free pass!

So for now she's just enjoying herself. Because I am too lazy just yet to go find new icons, let's just assume it's a normal one. There's nothing immediately visibly changing, okay? But who knows, maybe it's a delayed reaction sort of thing. ]

[ But you can't stay in the water forever. Probably. She gives it a really good try, but eventually the call of hunger sends her looking for something to eat. Something this high-level probably has fancier food than she'd be able to buy on her own, but is that going to stop her, this time? Absolutely not.

And she's no Saber, but she's definitely ordering an incredibly large amount of food. Surely there's no way this noodle of a girl can eat that much, right? Watch her. ]

[ Or there's the late, late night option, where she hasn't returned to the springs (surprising even herself), but has found a little spot to sit and moonwatch. Now is the time to try and unwind from the past couple of weeks, and by all rights she should be at least trying to sleep, but...

...well, look, sometimes she's really good at stupid human tricks, like overthinking and overworrying and surely no one is going to find her here so it's fine, right? IT'S FINE. EVERYTHING IS FINE. DON'T WORRY. ]

[Naughty senpai, they're all supposed to be staying in their rooms, you know!

But after the first night's incident with the ghost girl in the halls, Mash hasn't been able to help herself sneaking out in the wee hours whenever she's awake to do so, you know, just to make sure. Just because that had all ended well doesn't mean it couldn't escalate from there. This particular night, she'd woken up to find herself alone in their shared room, and that's all the more reason to make a quick sweep of the grounds and make sure everything's all right. Through their connection, she can tell Ritsuka is probably all right—but that doesn't mean she's not worried.

There are always things she won't be able to sense. Like, oh, you know, moping out under the moon.

It doesn't take all that long to find her. Mash pads up quietly, voice just loud enough to be heard in the still night.]

[ A chance for an actual vacation and one Sasuke doesn't have to pay for? Sign him up! He badly needs a chance to relax. The scenery already lifts his spirits. Breathing in the clear air and scents of the woods, Sasuke has the urge to climb and fly among the branches. However, he'll leave that for later. Relaxation first. ]

Hot Springs: first body switching, now a magical sex change?!

[ Sasuke washes up in the shower area and walks to the hot spring. He passes by an out of place towel rack with a towel already thrown over it. Maybe they installed that to keep the towels off the stone floors. Who knows? What he does know is that the water feels great. Sasuke melts into the hot spring and closes his eyes. He could fall asleep like this if he's not careful. Although, maybe he should have investigated that "towel rack." The carelessly hung towel covered a sign warning that these hot spring waters might have side effects... and Sasuke is going to find that his body has changed.

He may not look like a girl at first glance. He's flat, and his curves aren't super pronounced. His features look more moe softer, but perhaps that's just from him being relaxed for once... But if he speaks or stands up, there's no hiding his change from a cute teenage boy body to a boyish teenage girl body. ]

Inn: anytime after hot spring

[ Once he's finally dragged out of the hot spring and back into his clothes (which do not fit on his body right), Sasuke can be seen curled in the common area, surfing the web on his phone, and waiting for his rooming assignment. Maybe trying to hide in the hot spring was a bad idea because he's still stuck in a girl's body. He can almost pass for his normal self as long as he doesn't speak or people don't look too closely. He's not sure if he prefers things this way or wishes he at least had a figure to rival Kasuga's....

Sasuke doesn't care about curfew whenever it does start. Sleep never comes easily for him, and it's even harder to sleep in this body. Whether he's awake in his room, sneaking around the inn, or relaxing in a tree, Sasuke will be still be up come nighttime. ]

[ Sleep? What's that? Is it something tasty?

No, actually, for a rare once, Ritsuka manages to fall asleep pretty quickly -- but that also means she wakes up after a couple of hours, and after a bit of groggy contemplation, decides to roll out and wander to find a glass of water.

She navigates the halls with her eyes squinted half-shut, one hand on the walls. Not even the occasional outburst of commotion (who knows what other people are getting up to! not her! and it's probable that she doesn't really want to know, either) really seem to penetrate the fog of her sleepiness. So she's kind of looking where she's going, but also really kind of not, which means that this is the perfect opportunity, through the law of comedy, for her to blunder straight into someone who is trying to be sneaky in the hallways. ]

[ as one would expect, wherever sasuke was, yukimura was faithfully tethered nearby.

the distance between them would remain an open-ended variable whether there was food within his vicinity. but for the sake of simplicity, let's just assume, yukimura was exploring the premises for most of the day before checking up on the whereabouts of his boyfriend and their luggage because of course sasuke would be the unfortunate one left in charge of that while yukimura wandered around.

honestly, all he had to do was probably text him and find out where their assigned room was (imagine his shock once he finds out he's roomed elsewhere.) but instead of reaching in his pocket to do just that, he catches a blur of copper-bronze hair walking into one of the rooms and instantly follows after him, without saying much of a word.

because surely, the room he went into would be the one they're stationed in and instead of being that one guest to casually yell from across the hall, yukimura took the higher road in quietly making his way over and sneaking up behind an unsuspecting(?) sasuke, covering his eyes with both hands from behind. BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN, leave it to tigerpuppy to be in a playful mood at the worst of times. should've made sure the door was closed all the way, bro. ]

[It's a field trip, and if Ritsuka is going, so is Mash! She may be unfamiliar to most of you, but finally a new contender appears! Like Ritsuka wasn't going to invite her. She spends a lot of her time staying close to her senpai, but not all of her time. You can find her doing any of the following:]

the hot springs moment . . . of truth

[Literally, not that Mash knows it yet. She's always wanted to try out a hot spring, so why would she pass up this chance? Especially when she has no idea any of them are cursed in any way?

And whatever's happening isn't obvious yet—not to her, and not to anyone who might approach her. She's just soaking in the spring in an entirely normal fashion, unperturbed, glasses off and naked (which took some convincing, but hey, she likes to do things right). What she doesn't realize is that anyone soaking in this particular spring will feel compelled to tell only the truth for as long as they're in it, and probably some short time thereafter, too.

She hasn't realized yet because there's no one around to talk to, and therefore no way to know how compromised she is right now. But if someone else happens to dip into the springs with her? Something's gonna come tumbling out.]

[Another thing on the long list of things Mash has never done is table tennis. As soon as she comes across the tables, she's in. Wrapped in her yukata and weighing the paddle in her hand, giving it a few experimental swishes . . . she looks pretty cutely excited. And maybe a little more competitive than a meek-looking girl like her would be expected to be. Is anyone else around to play? Anyone?! Let Mash play!!]

[It isn't like Mash is the sort of girl to break the rules of hospitality for the hell of it. She'd absolutely planned on complying with the "request" to not explore the premises after curfew. But she also can't just ignore it when she swears she hears the crying of a little girl somewhere out there in the hallway, with a suspicious clarity. She slips out of the room she's sharing with Ritsuka to investigate, doing her level best to step lightly through the halls. One creak could bring down the wrath of the staff. But the suspicious sound is hard to pin down—it seems to come from here, then there, leading her farther and farther from her room . . .

Maybe you're investigating too. Or maybe you're up for a midnight snack, or maybe you're just an asshole who was dying to get a look around this place at night because the hosts were so insistent you not do that. Either way, you're about to have an encounter with at least this girl, and who knows what else lurking in the halls?]

[There's more than one out-of-place tagalong on this trip. Maybe even more so than Mash, since even if Mitsunari is familiar with a handful of the attendees the odds that any of them would have invited him are... slim? None???

But here he is. Throwing open one of the doors behind Mash and stepping out, pale enough in his white yukata that he could be a ghost, himself.]

1. Hot Springs Hoedown
[Chidori had been wanting (needing?) a relaxing onsen moment. Something quiet and soft and normal... but that might not be what she's going to get. There are a few options to find her throughout the weekend:

A. Mixed Bath Accident: Kaname gets turned around and is the first to settle in to the mixed bath thinking it was separate. Come here for all your awkward naked hijinks

B. Separate Bath - Cursed: She finally finds the separate bath, and rests her eyes as she leans over the side with the rest of her body still submerged. If left alone long enough she might just wake up looking a little different.

C. Fuck This - These shenanigans are Too Much and she just decides to put on a swimsuit and hang out in the foreigner's mixed bath.]

2. Room Roulette
[Kaname has finally found her room and gotten settled, but... the lodging is mixed too!? How ridiculous! What a silly place, and she should never come here again. But for now... she doesn't want to give up this weekend. Chidori settles herself with her things where she wants them. While waiting her eyes stay locked on the door anxiously to see who steps in to be her temporary roommate. If they're coming in to be weird or insist she move her things? She's ready to fight.]

3. Curiosity Made the Cat Compliant
[Last night Kaname didn't quite follow the rules. She lurked about trying to familiarize herself with the area but to also get some fresh air. However on the way back to her room she walked by the kitchen and saw some food sitting out. How odd? Will it just be thrown away? That's what she thought, so she ate it. Nothing bad seemed to have happened, but the next day she cannot help but do what anyone asks her. Even if the request is annoying or makes her stomach flip... Weird.]

[ Whatever was left out on the counter seemed harmless enough. And it hadn't been out for too long, either! It may or may not have been something left over from a night of cooking at the hands of the stand-in chef. But, details details.

Shirou wakes up the next morning as he rolls over to check the time across the room. ]

Mnn... Eight already?

[ Usually he was up a little earlier. But perhaps it's because he didn't have to worry about making breakfast or getting ready for school that for once, it wasn't such a bad thing. He rubs the fatigue from his eyes, feeling well rested after a night of cooking and relaxing in the hot springs. Any tension in his muscles from before was gone. A little sigh through his nose as he sits up from his futon, arms stretched high over his head with a yawn. ]

That's right. Today's our last day here... [ It'd been quite nice. If their chef was still ill tonight, he'd likely need to step in again. But until then, the redhead would use this time appropriately! Maybe he'd go for a jog around the whole complex to get his blood pumping and help wake him up a bit? Then catch a late breakfast for some added energy. Or maybe catch breakfast first. He was getting ahead of himself again.

Sporting house shoes provided by the staff and a plain change of clothes, he's heading down the hallway when he spots a familiar face coming from across the way. He thought he'd recognized that blue hair yesterday before he got pulled into the kitchen, but now that Shirou could see her face to face once more, he knew. What were the odds? He certainly wasn't complaining as he continues walking until he's back in front of her, a little wave and smile crossing his lips ]

[ When the invitation arrived on the doorstep of the Emiya residence, Shirou took some time to decide whether he should actually take the trip or not. Who would handle the meals at home, he wondered. For a whole weekend too?! But sure enough, with a little convincing he's prepared for this mini vacation. Maybe they'll have pipes that need saving. ]

This place is bigger than I thought... [ Once he's checked in and jots down a mental note of his room number, he brightens up a little. ] Yosh, let's go—!

[ Oh, Emiya Shirou... You had so much faith that this weekend would be a quiet, personal little getaway after psyching yourself up for it. And perhaps it will be! ...sometimes. Okay, probably not. ]

[ Over the course of the weekend, there's a couple of chances you'll find Shirou contently relaxing in the springs. Nothing strange will happen here—WRONG.

A. Spring of Truth: Par for the course but relatively tame for a 'cursed' hot spring. Shirou may not realize it yet, and he's already a straightforward person to begin with, but when the compulsion to tell the deepest truths hits him? It'll hit him hard. Look, reading is for chumps. Hot Springs should be common sense!

B. Normal Ending: For all your regular old-fashioned needs! Time to soak your weary muscles and let your body melt. It's what Shirou's doing, after all. He can't have all the bad luck!

Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan

[ Oh no! The Inn's head chef has fallen ill! It looks like room service and dining in will have to be put on hold... Rather, it would be if it weren't for one of their guests volunteering himself to help out. Shirou doesn't mind, really. If anything, he actually feels right at home in a kitchen! And one as nice as this one? He simply has to flex his cooking muscles a little bit. Maybe you heard about all the hubbub surrounding the sick chef. But the show must go on! Dining in? You might catch a glimpse of him through the little window into the kitchen, prepping your meal. Your room service (and the deliverer)? Shirou.

[It figures that this would be the weekend the head chef gets sick! What kind of place doesn't have backup staff on call, anyway? A nice big buffet was supposed to be part of the package!

They're a little far from an actual town to order ramen or pizza, so Masamune resorts to what any teen boy would do: raiding the fridge and inhaling EVERYTHING. At least, that's the plan until he gets close enough to the kitchen to catch a whiff of something way more appealing.

You know those annoying types who hover over your shoulder while you're cooking like some kind of anxious vulture? Yeah. That's what he's doing now.]

TONIGHT'S MENU FOR THE WHOOOOLE INN

[Having heard about the chef falling ill and one of the guests volunteering himself for a job this massive—Mash can't resist checking it out. What kind of person would take on that much work as a guest? Maybe he's getting comped for his bill by working there during his own vacation? (Frankly, he'd better be.) Maybe he just loves cooking that much, like some of the Servants of Chaldea; none of them benefit from putting in that work either, except in the joy they get out of some good work in the kitchen. (And in not having to eat things made by the less talented, surely.)

So, when she has some free time and knows the temporary chef will be getting started on his work for their supper one evening, Mash makes her way to the kitchen, announcing her presence with a polite knock. Maybe he could use an extra hand. She's no expert in cooking, but she is willing and eager to be of use.]

[ Sasuke's a decent cook. He's no gourmet chef, but he did most of the cooking in the Takeda household and now for just him and Yukimura. So when he heard that the chef was ill, he decided that he could whip up something for everyone. It'd also give him the chance to hide away in this wrong body of his. Shouldn't it have worn off by now? Why is he still a girl?!

Instead he sees another redheaded teen had beaten him to it... someone way more qualified to make the meals, judging by the food already prepared.

Well, this guy doesn't know who Sasuke is, so maybe it'll be less awkward for him to stick around and do something to pass the time. Sasuke moves to stir a pot threatening to boil over. The proper thing would be to ask if the teen needed help, but Sasuke sounds like a girl too. It's just weird for him to hear it out of his own mouth. ]

[Contrary to what one might assume, androids are somewhat familiar with baths--or at least, this particular android is! Granted, baths also usually tend to be reserved as more intensive forms of external maintenance, if you've just really gotten yourself into a mess that'll take more than a cursory towel scrub to clean off. To the majority of androids baths are honestly considered time-consuming, kind of superfluous, completely unnecessary most days...and 9S loves them, incidentally!

Imagine his delight, then, to be introduced to the Actual Peak of Hot Bath Experience...! Deeper pools of water can become a hazard for androids too, but the notion of this hasn't quite stopped 9S from trying to submerge as much of himself as he can within safe parameters; visitors will find him nearly shoulder-deep a lot the time, collar still on but the rest of his clothes placed aside in accordance with the apparent norms. Any number of events could unfold from here, really, since--

1: --For one thing, he doesn't entirely understand what "mixed bath" actually refers to, and may or may not have just wandered his way into the first spring he found along the path. Having been functioning under an impression that these things would usually be segregated, this is a bit of a surprise! But, well--when your clothes are already half-off or you're already in the water--this is just some awkwardness for everybody to deal with now, whoops. Thank goodness for all this steam making embarrassment and avoided eye-contact just a little easier to field, huh?

2: 'Cursed springs' is an even weirder idea, and he sure isn't aware of it. One would wonder if curses even affect androids in the first place, and so far the evidence seems to point to...probably not?? 9S himself seems perfectly fine and unaffected enough after a bit of time spent soaking, anyway, which is why there aren't any warnings leveled towards anybody else visiting to use the spring too. But as time passes....ah, it sure does feel like a good time to doze off about now, doesn't it? Though the bits and pieces of memories that aren't your own, that keep filtering in every time your eyes close--yeah, that might be enough to startle anybody awake again. Maybe we should all make a break for it before the sleepiness really sets in??

3: Alternatively, or at least eventually, initial awkwardness is set to the wayside and the bath isn't cursed after all either. How nice!! Flushed and clearly enjoying himself, 9S seems more than content to burn several hours on just soaking....do androids even prune up like humans?? It sure doesn't seem like he's worried about the risk. Sometimes he'll even just, fully dunk himself in the water head and all, in a clear bid at savoring the hot water even more fully...! Though, uh, he does stay under for a weirdly long amount of time...when he does this....9S please, people are going to start thinking that you're drowning if you keep doing this--

But really, feel free to come bother him in any of these scenarios or one of your own! HOT BATH TIMES LET'S GO]

[It's not necessarily the first time 9S has ever shared a room with somebody else before--but it is the first time he's ever found himself in a room with quite this much, luxury? Well, by all means and accounts most would consider this a typical decently high-end but comfortable inn room anyhow, but spaces with furnishings quite this elaborate are still plenty novel to him. Dressers and tables, an entire separate bathing room, plush beds and a screen door leading to a small balcony...the excess! The decadence?!

9S spends a solid five minutes just kind of poking through all these things as soon as he arrives, pretty clearly just barely able to contain his excitement. But at length he does at least settle down just enough to outright flop onto one of the beds, laughing a little at the soft give of it under his back. (The frame creaks kind of disproportionately compared to his size, but don't mind that. He still has his shoes on too...like a heathen smh.......)]

Man, this is something else! We've got access to all of this, seriously? [He fans his arms out over the covers like somebody attempting a snow angel...except it's like, a bed angel instead....blankets, though! Wild. He cranes his head to blink over at his roommate audience at length, beaming.] Oh, but right, I think somebody mentioned...a "curfew", was it? What's up with that, exactly?

[Does 9S maybe eventually learn what a curfew even is? Yes. Does that actually stop him from eventually wandering out of his room at later hours anyway? Absolutely not. He's a curious boy--he's literally coded that way, alas--

So here he is, snooping around...though he seems thoroughly preoccupied by something or other, should you happen to find him in the middle of your own wandering too. Poised near the end of one of the halls lined by inn room doors, and frowning a little--he almost jumps, upon finding somebody else coming up from behind, but then he's waving a hand in a beckoning sort of way.]

Hey... [Down to a whisper, as he knows this is kind of a stealth endeavor about now. But even as he leans close to continue, 9S pauses first, frowning some more and rubbing at the side of his head before glancing back over to the other end of the hall leading towards the stairs for a long moment. The space over that way seems dark and empty enough, and yet--] Hey, I think there's something over there? But I can't get any closer...

No, for real, who is this guy? And how did Masamune end up rooming with him when he'd rather be sleeping with Kaname? Booooo. But it's hard even for a firecracker like him to get too grumpy at a scenic resort spring like this. And... okay. Fine. 9S rolling around like an excited puppy is kind of cute.]

Aah, this place ain't too bad... [There are much nicer ones up around Sendai, though. Masamune is so ready to die on this hill. Fortunately, there are other petty causes to stand for right now.]

Curfew's some arbitrary rule to keep people from having fun at night. But who wants to waste a vacation sleeping? I say we get our money's worth.

[After their conversation before, and after seeing him around the inn, Mash has definitely been wanting to approach and talk to 9S . . . it just never seems to be a good time. Someone's in the middle of ping-pong, or another conversation, this and that. Or, like right now, they're both naked. Is that the best time to approach and greet a boy you met once before? Prooooobably not.

And so she wasn't planning to. This moment was going to pass by like the others, and she would have sought him out later, instead of now, with a towel still wrapped around her body as she picks her way along the edge of the baths to find some privacy. But—she'd caught a glimpse of him sinking down into the water, and he's not coming back up, and, oh no . . .

What choice does she have? Is he okay down there?! Eyes wide and embarrassment forgotten for the moment, she hurries over as much as she can, in bare feet on slippery stone.]

[Did you know that some hot springs have enough minerals in the water to make it almost milky and opaque? Well, now you do! Which is great considering this particular mixed bath then gives a little extra modesty when people are submerged. This time 9S happens to be the first in the mixed bath, and Kaname comes up second. Which, honestly, she just assumes is fine because he's MADE OF ELECTRONIC PARTS and probably DOESN'T NEED THE SAME MODESTY PRIVILEGES as humans do.

Hoo boy is she wrong though.

Despite that she pads up to the edge of the pool and (this is very rude so please don't use her as an example of how to do things) just jumps in right behind him. No cannon ball or anything, but definitely big enough to creat a splash.]

[ It's later, but not that much later, really -- enough that even their more rowdy companions have gotten the initial round of fight out. They'll surely kick up a new fuss again soon enough, but for now, it's at least quieter. Which is nice.

Ritsuka is actually on her way back to the outside springs after dinner, humming to herself as she goes. For her part, she's been mostly staying... not really out of the way, but let's just say 9S isn't the only one who's having a good time taking as much advantage of the available hot water. There's a spring to her step that's normally absent.

But whether he's coming or going, she spots him on the way, brightening as she picks up the pace to close the gap between them. ]

Hot Springs

[Things kind of happen when you used to work on a tourist spot with a few baths and springs. Getting a personal invitation to go after her finals have her many emotions.

“Hell no, that’s trouble. I don’t trust it. I don’t want to go anywhere. I don’t know where this place is-“

Essentially it was a tirade of being a complete killjoy. In honestly, it probably took a ton of insisting on both ends to even get her to go. Probably something to do with her new friends pushing her buttons and her getting softer about it, whatever.

It was free. There was food. She was...used to the setting. Might make her feel like a guest instead of a worker, probably said a nagging non-pessimistic thought.

[Daria was all about keeping things neat in her space. Which was where her inner Koriko came out. She had to stop herself from doing it because it was so weird for her to take on extra work beyond what was expected of her to do. While she got better about that kind of laziness due to the many jobs she worked, she was always still a bit lax on taking on more than she felt she could or should.

But old habits now we’re dying really hard.

Despite her working as the librarian, she still had to run tasks to the bathhouse when told, to her annoyance. So like a nagging fly in her peripheral, there was an urge to straighten towel racks, or collect garbage. For as much as the work annoyed her, and the jobs in general, there was something to be said about poor work being done that made her suddenly feel not as immediately apathetic.

So sometimes she caught herself making things neat. Maybe from behind, she looked like staff. How annoying.]

[ Guess who's also picking things up as he sees them out of place? Sasuke is. After having discovered that some of these hot springs had warning signs, he's keeping busy making sure none of them are covered by discarded towels, yukata, whatever. He would have never gotten into that hot spring if he saw the sign. (But it didn't give him any further details on how to switch back or length of time he'd be stuck like this!)

He's amassed an armful of discarded fabric items by now, so when he sees someone else cleaning up, he goes over to ask, ]

[Aw hell yeah Masamune's ready for this retreat! From what, though? He doesn't work or go to school anymore. Wasn't he just in Hawaii like a month ago? Whatever. It doesn't diminish his excitement at all.

He's probably all over the place-- hogging a massage chair all to himself, grilling skewers of meat at the attached restaurant (6 at a time!!), taunting people to come get their ass kicked at ping-pong (6 PADDLES!!), breaking curfew just because there IS one, exploring the mountain wilderness... Wherever you want him. Or wherever you very much don't want him.]

[Did you know? The healing and relaxing properties of natural springs are so strong that even wild young dragons can't help but calm down. Masamune spends a good chunk of time going back and forth between springs, segregated and mixed both, just to see which one feels best. He's content enough to have a casual naked chat, if someone joins him, why not?

In fact, by the end of the second day he's so relaxed it's like he's a different person entirely. Calm, but with the kind of cool arrogance that might seem intimidating if he were taller. Less like a temperamental kitten and more like a wildcat who could decide he's hungry at any given second.

But he also seems a little... lost? Like he doesn't recognize this place, or these people, or even his own body. He's keeping himself from panicking, trying to get a feel for what exactly is going on here before he decides on anything.

Masamune's past life is feeling a little refreshed and rejuvenated is what I'm saying here, basically. Have fun with that.]

[ When he wakes up still as a girl, Sasuke realizes this is even less like switching bodies with Kojuro. That hadn't last very long, a few hours at most. This? It's nearing a full day since he turned into a girl!

He follows signs towards the modest reading room in the inn, hoping they have something on sex changing hot springs. It's their god damn hot spring! Even a brochure would be something. But Sasuke instantly regrets taking this path when he spots Masamune further down the hall. He doesn't want to be seen by him like this... Maybe if he dashes pass on his right side and keeps his head down, Masamune won't notice or recognize him. ]

[It's funny how you see someone everyday, and yet when you go somewhere with a group of people they suddenly disappear on you. Kaname is content to let Masamune go about his own business. Enjoying the time apart as a little breather. However...

Eventually she just wants to find him and be close again. To return to that familiar and comfortable feeling she has around him. So, when she sees him in the halls of the inn, she hurries up to him from behind. Her hand clapping down firmly on his shoulder with a friendly grip.]

[ People back in her home town used to say she could practically eat anything and they weren't wrong, Tsuruhime is taking all the advantage of a free vacation as much as she could which includes trying out various dishes the inn has to offer. Hey, every single grain of rice has a god in it, she's just following the lessons she's been taught since she was a child.

She has stacks of plates in front of her, various dishes ranging from local favorites to some foreign cuisine. She isn't greedy however, she's more than happy to pass the food onto you so you can share the delicious meal. ]

b. ping-pong battles
[ Whether she realizes it or not, Tsuruhime is always for some friendly competition. While she prefers more artistic and light-hearted hobbies, she can partake in a little sports competition if she so wishes. It all takes her seeing the tennis table in the rec room to drag the nearest person into playing a few rounds of ping-pong with her.

Sure it's all just for fun, but as time goes on, it's clear she's getting a little too heated. Heavens help you if you're racking wins against her, she isn't the most grateful loser. But weirdly, she might occasionally space out and look at anywhere but the game, it's as if she's seeing something without telling anyone about it. ]

c. is for crane
[ Maybe you were minding your own business, be it retiring for the night or heading to the rec room to play some games. Except, there's a red-crowned crane at the corner of the hallway. It doesn't seem to be doing anything except, strangely, sulking and hiding its head under its own wing.

However, if it notices you there, the crane will immediately get up and run after you while it calls in excitement. ]
