[One would think it'd be made easier by the fact everybody's brought together for a resort sort of thing like this, yeah--but as it turns out, there's a lot of things to preoccupy a lot of people for sure, and that's bound to make things understandably trickier. Conversations with approximate strangers while nude, for one thing, could definitely count as at least a little awkward...though honestly, 9S might have made an attempt at reaching out to her anyhow!
But, alas, he just hasn't actually spotted Mash himself yet--he's honestly way more preoccupied and distracted than usual all around today, being bombarded by so many new and pleasant experiences all at once. Like soaking in a hot bath as long as he wants...! --The fact that he's underwater around the time Mash actually approaches doesn't make noticing her much easier, unfortunately. And....being underwater really mutes sounds from outside quite a lot too, even more unfortunately. 9S isn't an aquatic model by a long shot, and sure doesn't have the sensory specs to make it work by any means; at the present moment, Mash's voice is just another of the many muffled noises from overhead.
There's a few bubbles from down there?? The pale cloud of his hair is probably approximately visible just under the opaque surface too. But there's...seemingly no other reaction....oh no..........]
